I had to Have One: Slice of Life Tuesdays

Morning Slicers,

I’m up at 5:15 to get dressed and travel, so no time to build this slice properly.  But I do have a funny story, a tale of tech love!

Sunday night, 60 Minutes was on the TV as usual,  Sometime I’m engaged, sometimes I’m watching with just one eye.  For most of this one I was one-eyeing, that was until I met up with GO PRO and then there was no stopping my imagination and I had to have one before I got on the plane.  So right after no guitar lesson and just before lunch with Tuvia, I stopped at my Best Buy, connected with a young photo geek and left with a bag of Go Pro stuff to crack open and make some sense of before departure.  If you didn’t watch this episode, check it out and let me know if/when you need to get one too.  We can create a GoPro community of Slicers.

Reminds me of the first time I heard about the Kindle.  Jeff Bezos introduced it on Charlie Rose and within the first 15 minutes of his roll out, I had one speeding to me.  I had to have that and I never regretted my move to Ebooks.

So enjoy the week and your upcoming GO PRO adventure if you’re planning to take the plunge.  I will have it with me in Boston, at our Slicer breakfast if you’re there.

  1. Oh how I wish I were going to be a NCTE this year! And now you’ve got me interested…I’m going to check it out. I’ll have to show it to my husband as he is the photographer in the family. Enjoy your travels!
