I still have some sand between my toes, I’m still in my sandals,I’m still have some unpacking and all the washing to do. I’m still remembering our beach routine, but… we were away just long enough to wish we had just one more day, well I was wishing.
But we are home and that’s the place to be. I did cancel a periodontist appointment for tomorrow. Way too soon to get back into perio torture, right? But work begins on Tuesday. I will be back in my car early on Tuesday and headed to watch four Ellenville teachers work with some of the strategies I shared with them a few weeks ago and my Canon is ready for me to pick up at a Fed Ex nearby and I will be ready to document their work. And then we will meet together in two teams on Wednesday for work reflection and new work with informational texts. Then on Thursday I could be back watching teachers in Highland Falls. Good work ahead!
Friday- break time- meet up for weight training with Anthony and then lunch with my Book Club.
So home is a good place to be. Oh, I have a birthday to celebrate: My dad is turing 93 tomorrow(St. Patrick’s Day) and he’s feeling like he’s getting younger. What a guy.
Welcome home! Looks like some of the snow has melted in your absence. Busy week ahead; I look forward to reading what you will uncover this week!
It’s a grand trip when you are wishing for more. Slowly the world will turn green again. I can see glimpses in your photos, we are still brownish. What a busy week you have ahead! Better rest up today.
And meet a special boyfriend visiting from Spain for Tuvia’s granddaughter. Too bad I can’t practice my Spanish… beyond the basics 😦
Welcome home! Looks like a great place to relax. Is this where you went last year?
An early happy birthday to your father!
Welcome home! I love how you juxtaposed photos of Cancun with photos of home. It’s always good to get home.
Back home! Woo hoo!
