Where am I???: #sol15 4/31

In one week I will be waiting to  board a plane for Cancun at the Newark Liberty Airport.  As much as I love white, I love color so much more.

Paradise for a week!

A gorgeous room with a spacious balcony overlooking the ocean and a new routine.    Everything outside.  Walking in sandals…leisurely! Great food and drink! Just a chance to breathe and move in shorts and tees on soft sand.

I never thought I’d be dreaming of the beach.  It wasn’t part of my youth or young adulthood but with my maturity I’ve come welcome these beach vacations.

So right now as I write, I dream, after all this week is more exciting that next… The dreams, the expectations…that’s the best!

Excellence Playa Mujeres… our favorite home away from home.

This could be the best week of all as dreams more vivid in each day of white.

  1. I guess this means we’ll have to read about the heaven in Cancun next week, right? Hm-m, will try to celebrate with you instead of being very jealous! Truly, happy for you, too!

  2. I have to admit, I’m a little envious. Beaches have always been part of my dreams. But this does mean that perhaps we’ll get some lovely pictures from you to daydream to 🙂

  3. Anticipation for the sand and surf is running high. Especially when you compare it to the reality outside your door. White, cold, ugh! I will savor every bit of warmth that will be sent via your camera and words.

  4. I am soooo jealous right now, Bonnie. Have a safe trip and an enjoyable time. I look forward to reading about your trip and seeing pictures that don’t have feet of snow in them.

  5. How fun! The loungers on the beach look so inviting and cozy! In Florida it seems we’re having a heat wave this week–near 90 today. I’ve never been to Cancun. Can’t wait to see more of the sights next week.

  6. I love the beach, too. I hardly ever get to go there, but I’ve always dreamed of living near one. The rhythm of the ocean is so calming. Have a great trip!

  7. Bonnie, such things draw us forward. There is much joy to be had in anticipation of a planned event. An escape from the cold. A chance to warm the body and enrich the soul. A chance revive spirits and recharge our energy supply. I am certainly with you on this one. Have fun in the sun. For me, the thought of Vietnam in May is looming ever closer. We need these carrots…
