Early Morning, Just Ocean & Sand and Me: #sol15 13/2015

It was so cool to wake up at 6 this morning, in the darkness and quietly open the balcony doors with my iPhone.the only camera I brought along.  I was psyched to capture the sun rise and by 7 when the coffee arrived and I was really up and ready to take a walk just below me, I knew I’d be strolling solo. Tuvia needed more sleep.

I showed, dressed, grabbed the essentials and I was off, down the stairs, and out.  Just a few strides and I joined about a handful of like minded beach lovers, out with a purpose to grab the sand and sea first, when it was fresh from its sleep and the air was still cool to enjoy the stillness.

I took my time, smiled at my group and didn’t think about anything.  At least I put the effort into keeping my mind empty.

It was glorious.

I hope this becomes part of my routine for the next week at Excellence.  What a way to begin a day.

It’s now early afternoon and I think it’s time for a trip to the gym.  Of course, I’m making up the schedule.

Wish I had a band of Slicers here with me.

  1. What a great way to welcome the morning. I have never been to Cancun….and this makes me want to visit there. Loved your pictures….enjoy your time there and glad you are making your own schedule.
