It was so cool to wake up at 6 this morning, in the darkness and quietly open the balcony doors with my iPhone.the only camera I brought along. I was psyched to capture the sun rise and by 7 when the coffee arrived and I was really up and ready to take a walk just below me, I knew I’d be strolling solo. Tuvia needed more sleep.
I showed, dressed, grabbed the essentials and I was off, down the stairs, and out. Just a few strides and I joined about a handful of like minded beach lovers, out with a purpose to grab the sand and sea first, when it was fresh from its sleep and the air was still cool to enjoy the stillness.
I took my time, smiled at my group and didn’t think about anything. At least I put the effort into keeping my mind empty.
It was glorious.
I hope this becomes part of my routine for the next week at Excellence. What a way to begin a day.
It’s now early afternoon and I think it’s time for a trip to the gym. Of course, I’m making up the schedule.
Wish I had a band of Slicers here with me.
Amazing clouds. Loved the description of stillness and mindfulness.
Thanks Terje for reading and learning your comment just as I was trying to get the Slice up and working. The internet has not been friendly in Cancun.
A perfect trio. I must admit, I have never seen a ed shaped that way.
What a great way to welcome the morning. I have never been to Cancun….and this makes me want to visit there. Loved your pictures….enjoy your time there and glad you are making your own schedule.
Oh! Thanks for letting fellow slicers pop right into such a beautiful image. Wondering how beautiful the sunset will be!
So beautiful! Enjoy, my friend.
Perfect way to start a day! Those clouds are awesome! Save every moment.
Wish we were there too. I do smile at the beauty you are sharing. Savor.
What a glorious thing to share with us. I am content just looking at your pictures.
Lovely! I wish a bunch of us slicers were there with you, too! 🙂
