It’s day 3 1/2 and I’m in the groove and Tuvia has acclimated well but he will be restless way before me. In fact, as I watch those on the way out of here, dressed for home, I’m already feeling time moving too fast. But then I am a holdout. I change for home at the airport.
Yesterday afternoon, I was feeling good, in the groove, already planning my morning routine for today.
Both of us slept well and in the darkness at 6 we were ready to meet the sunrise on the balcony and wait for our room service delivery of fresh squeezed oj, coffee and toast. Showered before the tray arrived I would hit the gym in the fresh morning air with the health-loving guests and I had the end of my book to enjoy as I started the day on the treadmill.
What a joy to walk in the silence and join a room filled with exercisers. 30 full minutes with a new best speed of 3.5 and I still had more to go. I couldn’t return without reaching the end of the book, so I sat down in an empty room, in the chill of the morning and read with the light of my Kindle and I was satisfied.
Tuvia was back at the room dressed and showed and filled with enough power to join me for anything. We headed to a real breakfast and without any assistance from me we both found what we needed. Both kept the food healthy.
And off to our spot in the shade on the beach with reserved seats.
And the morning was full and productive, enough.
Of course, there’s not enough that I could possibly say for the staff here who make everything we need and want in our grasp.
Sadly the internet is just not fast enough. BROADBAND!!! So, it’s tough to move around from blog to blog. Yesterday it was even tough to get my post written and published so I am just not commenting as much as I’d like. Good thing I’ll be home by Tuesday night to catch up.
Sorry 😦
More adventures from Excellence Playa Mujeres to come….
Your pool looks incredible. I can only imagine the fun of getting lost in a book floating on a lounge chair. My idea of a pseudo heaven on earth!
It all looks pretty dreamy. I’m definitely dreaming of a beach escape! Thanks for sharing yours.
We are happy for the vicarious vacation we get through your writing and pictures. We know you will be back in the commenting groove. Enjoy your time in paradise!
Wow!!!! I am so happy you are getting some sun. I love the beach! It is a great place to read.
Looks like you are having a wonderful time! The pictures are amazing and just what I needed to see today. Enjoy your travels!
Jennifer
Once again, I am enjoying beach life through your photographs! I think I will start planning a trip next year this time! Soak up enough warmth and sunshine to last for awhile once you return.
You don’t need to comment until you get home. The pictures you share are enough for me!
Soak it all in Bonnie. You are embracing the moments it seems. It’s recharge time.
Gorgeous pictures – enjoy all that sun drenched beauty and room service! Rained all day here…:(
What great pictures. So glad that you and Tuvia are enjoying. I must admit, though, that I am selfish. If I were away I don’t think I would give posting much thought. Bad…I know.
Oh my goodness! How can I get one of those floating pool chairs? I could sit for hours with a good book in that thing! Enjoy!
