We have finished for the day. Just hanging out now, drinking a bit of wine, eating a few chips and talking a lot! I’m the only one writing at the moment, but everyone shared something from their writing today and powerful, really powerful writing.
I love this group of 14 women. Many I know well, after a full institute together and then some.
I love the process of writing together, writing off alone, writing and sharing in pairs. Writing in all its forms with others. Together and a apart.
It snowed as I drove up to this spot on the Hudson River and hopefully in the morning, we will be out together exploring before we return for morning writing. I am charged with the capture.
I can’t miss anymore talk so I’m signing off for now.
See you tomorrow.
I hope to hear more about your retreat in future slices because it sounds like a wonderful experience!
This sounds like an amazing experience- What is better than spending time writing and sharing with friends. Thanks for sharing.
I do love a good writing retreat. I’m going to one this summer that will be great! I’m glad you all are enjoying good writing and good company!
That will be great friend
I am so jealous of your retreat and your writing community. I would love to have a non-virtual writing community!
That’s a great idea Leigh Anne
Together with friends and writing, plus throw in a glass of wine and conversation and you have nirvana. Keep savoring these moments!
Oh, this looks like it was wonderful! What an amazing opportunity and gift to be able to have a community of writers. It’s so important as teachers to be engaged, actively, in the practices we teach.
