April Fools: 1/30 #sdawpphotovoices

So I didn’t take this photo today but I woke up this morning to a snowy glaze and the challenge to begin a-photo-a-day thanks to photo challenger Kim Duillard  and her amazing blog you can find here.

After a great time away this weekend with HVWP writers, I want to begin this month with a moment that blew me away even if I didn’t really want to see the Hudson covered in ice.  It was majestic!

And this is the first day without my TwoWritingTeachers Community and so who knows who will see this post and leave a comment, but I hope to keep the photo/writing up.

So here’s my first.  I did of course, play with a tool for this look- FX Photo Studio PRO!  But then it’s April Fools Day!!

  1. You know I can’t resist commenting, glad you posted. My day seemed a little empty with no slices to read and comment on. Hope to see some more from Bonnie’s lens this month. 🙂

  2. That’s a great picture. I would never guess, years from now, that it was taken April 1! There’s a large lake near my old house and I remember one of the long time residents saying that it was always free of ice by the 25th of April. I don’t think that will happen this year. 😦
