I’m Back: #sol15

Okay, I’m not going to beat myself up because I haven’t been posting.  Yes, my fingers miss this morning exercise, my camera misses our daily adventures, searching a photo to showcase a daily moment but I haven’t been too far away.  I’m with my digital world always, in fact, I’m breaking in the newest member of the family- a shinny new Macbook Air.  🙂

Last week at this time, I was racing to create a final video for my PD work in Ellenville with a great group of teachers.  I’d love to share that piece but we can’t have it up on the internet.  UGH! But here’s a picture of most of the group

It was glorious, watching them observe the classrooms of their colleagues, usually closed.  They loved watching each version of a 5-image story strategy that I had shared.  They loved watching students engaged with their teachers. So good to be able to go home again, given that Ellenville High School was my high school as a kid and as a beginning teacher.

I want to remember that and there’s a good chance we will be back there next year, but first the report to write today. UGH!

So glad to be writing, that’s for sure.

But there”s another story to share…

Driving from Ellenville to New Paltz to the music of Laura Nyro on route 44/55 my favorite ride, on a gorgeous morning in May.  Now there’s the next piece to work on !

Good thing there’s always the next piece to CREATE- my #olw

  2. Your enthusiasm always shines through. Glad to know you’ve been absent because you have been busy creating and not having other types of issues. I’m always excited to see your name on my inbox to see what you’ve been working on.

  3. Your excitement is palpable! Perhaps it’s the new macbook…or perhaps it’s May or perhaps it’s your endless enthusiasm for writing and learning!

  4. Love that you’re BACK! Sorry, my trip to NY is just to Ithaca for graduation. We’ll be looking forward to your new creations. Enjoy your new macbook!
