Letters to Tuvia #18: September 11, 2015

Morning T,

That’s right,  I didn’t write last night.  I SLEPT!!!!!  It’s early but hey I slept more last night than I have in weeks.

YAY!!!!   Can’t wait to see if sleep will really make a difference for my early morning workout with Anthony at 8. What do you think?

From one day to the next, the contrasts have been striking.  The rains came on Thursday and I was inside, miserable.  Sunshine yesterday, and I couldn’t stop moving.   Of course, you’d say.  Get out of the house! Don’t be a prisoner!

So I was out early, headed to my place to finish the cleaning job, lugging 15 garbage bags to Joy’s car set aside for donations to a nearby Church.  Done!

Then a bit of shopping at Macy’s for a  return to my place-  freshening up my bedroom.  Makes sense right?  Trying to move along slowly to health.  Okay.  Ordered!

Then we are off to Nyack for walking and eating, exploring in the sunshine, up and down the the streets of houses, returning to my town, one that we both loved once and still, right?

Hours away from Paramus and I’m with Joy and I’m with you too because my eyes are wet.

I take in as much as I can and Joy drops me back at my car by 3 and I’m on my way back to the house to a break but it will be short.  Tara, finishing up school and walking her dog will be ready for an early dinner with me in Ridgewood and more walking at the end of the day.

A day of walking, eating, friendship and memories of you.

No wonder I was able to sleep.

Thanks T, for coming along with me yesterday,

Bonnie S.
