Finally T,
I’m up and writing! It took time to get my photos uploaded and this site working with me, just what you hate about technology- it’s messy unreliability. For me, it’s a challenge.
Day 2 of Rosh Hashanah took me back home to reconnect with my apartment, that I’ve left unloved for the past two years. Dana was on board to meet me there and work to prep the place for real living. As I shut up the house for a trial overnight, I was skeptical, but I shouldn’t have been.
I walked in and felt us everywhere, but here my style dominates.
I filled the fridge with food for lunch and breakfasts.
First a walk with Sharon at the river for that needed daily exercise routine returning and then back to the house for lunch.
As Dana worked on house, I remembered that I had a video created 16 years ago for my 50th Bday party. I found it and we watched our lives frozen in time. Everyone younger, enjoying, some key players are gone. We were then just finishing our 3rd year together. I watched us dance together. Remember? I know that you would never have the patience to sit and watch it all but Dana and I loved it.
Back in real time it felt so good to feel the apartment coming back to life and as Dana finished the house, she turned to pamper me with a fresh pedicure, manicure and waxing. Ahh… felt good.
For dinner Jane and Michael, back from their weekend away, hosted me with great food and deep conversation bringing you to the table, checking in with me.
Lots of pampering today and as Dana got ready to leave, my new comforter arrived to put the finish on the bedroom refresh.
My first night back in my place. We created this space together and as my eyes tear, I’m feeling your presence.
What will tomorrow hold for us?
Love you,
Bonnie S.
New routines , old friends, and lasting memories. Love that Dana has helped you prepare the apartment. Pretty comforter!
Yeah looks great!
Have a good one
Walk later?
It’s nice to refresh, but add the new too. I love that picture by the river, Bonnie. Hugs to you today.
What a blessing to have videos to revisit! Let the pampering continue.
