Letters to Tuvia #69: You Take My Breath Away (11-4-15)

Dear Tuvia,

The romantic in me is alive and well and you remain the man who continues to take my breath away even as I sit and try to concentrate on this year’s season of Homeland.  I’m finding it very hard to follow and I’m not sure if that’s because you are distracting me .

Carrie is in and out of trouble on the TV and on my laptop I play “Embraceable You, watch the video I created for your birthday, replay “can it Help Falling in Love with you on Dancing with the Stars.

I am transported and soon tears fill my eyes and I am catching my breath. I am with you.

And today the sun was shining again and I was out in the world with Nancy Letts for lunch trying out Mint in Tarrytown.  I was back at the house, being in your space, collecting some of my computer cables, I was at the jeweler’s leaving your rings behind for resizing, I was exercising at the gym and finally I was with Fred and Sheila in Nyack for dinner and finally at a discussion at the JCC.

Yes, I was out in the world and you approve.  But now, back in my space I can’t end the day without this time I’m sharing with you, grateful that you still take my breath as I shut my eyes and see us and I am not sad tonight.

Love you always,

Bonnie S.
