Afternoon T,
Two days up and down the NYS Thruway in glorious sunshine! Yes, it was good and yes, I was tried and no, I haven’t found someone to call when I need conversation to make sure I stay awake but yes, I did make sure to stop at the last rest stop before the Tappan Zee bridge, to get out of the car, breathe some fresh air, walk a bit and get some coffee.
Did I miss your voice, your willingness to make conversation even though you hate phone talk? YES!!!!!
I was back in motion, driving up to Ellenville for breakfast with my dad, my brothers and Margaret. I took my favorite ride over the mountain to meet with Tom, have coffee with Jackie and head for Paramus to meet Tara and celebrate her birthday at Bone Fish. No, she did not touch the check! She kept her promise.
My conversations during these days in motion have been great- planning for HVWP summer work and something new and exciting with Tara. Most of July for work. Half of August for travel.
Sounds good right? Sounds good to me too but I would give anything to fold in the need to balance all that activity with time for you-that balance between work and Tuvia. It was always a careful walk I took to make sure you didn’t feel left behind. Even if you never wanted me to leave you, you knew you had to.
I learned so much about balance in our 20 years together.
I would give anything to take back that challenge T, anything but I’m in motion, taking on this life solo, trying anyway.
Miss you T. on this glorious Thursday,
Bonnie S.
So glad to have you back, my friend! Great plans ahead…and sunshine and melting snow for now.
Yay👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Your plans sound mysterious and wonderful, Bonnie. Happy you’ve had some ‘reunions” with family and Tara, the ‘after snow’ time! Sometimes when I read your posts, I imagine a large basket in your home where you’re piling up all the “gifts” that you received from Tuvia. You’ve shown me so many things that you are grateful for, like your reference for balance. They are nice to hear about. Glad the sun is out!
I’m looking forward to your collaboration with Tara too. Your days are busy and full of people and challenges of work. Sounds good for the present. 🙂
