Letters to Tuvia#166 Friends (3-4-16)

Afternoon T,

Just watched two new episodes of House of Cards season 4. Yes, Netflixs has come to Cancun but there’s a price of course- the internet isn’t always as reliable as you might hope for and patience is essential when there’s a break in the action.  We have become so used to having it everywhere and anytime we need it and as much as the staff wants to give us all that we desire, they can’t offer limitless internet so I can’t upload the images I’d like right now but fear not, I will be patient.

It’s good to have our friends here- just in time for me.  I tried the solo adventure at our  our beach getaway and it was good for a day, maybe two but face it- I need more connection if I can’t have you walking beside me.  I can’t come here without people I love in the flesh. Now that Jane and Michael are here and loving our paradise, I can relax and enjoy it in all its luxury with  the staff, well  who are blowing J and M away.  So cool to watch!!!!

As for me… yes my love, I’m here for me and for you, plowing ahead. Martine remembers you well, through the tastings and dinners and with the aid of some great red wine was pleased to see me smiling even though its been just 6 months. He understands well the loss of a loved one.

So, I’m off to change into something you’ve never seen for a Mexican dinner that you would have hated.  Of course I’d switch to Italian, like we did last year. Just show up and we’ll  all move with you.

But if that’s not possible … Ole’

Bonnie S.

  1. So glad your friends have arrived. This sounds like a place where you need to share the experience, not hide away in a room. There’s no fun in that.
