Morning T,
More rain and cold for early May. Feels like our adventures in Finland on this very week just three years ago. Those big events- our opportunities to travel together so often and my images that keep appearing daily in Facebook Memories bring them back to me even when I don’t want to be reminded that there won’t be anymore.
As wonderful as those trips were as I sit here, on my couch, on a rainy Tuesday, Wednesday… in the silence, in this freshened space, I cherish the flood of everyday moments we shared- the coffee, the movies in the movies, on TV and computer screens, the marathons of “24”. Just the everyday routines- the walks in Ridgewood, the talking everywhere, the nights up and asleep together… and yes, I tear up through as these memories flood in but I’m working to embrace them…cherish them, be grateful for them.
So grateful for them…
And soon, after a second cup of coffee and more chatting on Morning Joe, after The Donald wrapped up the Republican nomination ( I know, that’s nuts), and Bernie is still winning primaries even though it should be Hillary for the general election.. I’ll be off the couch, dressed, packed and out of here and on rainy roads headed for the Adirondacks and a new perspective- exploring life with James… a marathon of catching up with him face-to-face. A marathon of theater talk and introductions into his life in upstate New York.
Good time to get away… every time I’ve packed a bag and traveled away from my place of comfort, it’s been good… This trip will be good too…
I’m in motion T. I’m in motion…
Miss you,
Bonnie S.
Hoping the sun comes out for your wonderful weekend, Bonnie. Enjoy being away!
Thanks Linda
