Today Yesterday
Dear Tuvia and March Slicers,
Where do I begin on this 10th March Slice of Life Marathon??? For most of my March writing I been away from home challenged to find good internet, beginning most days praying I could write a slice and get cooperation with internet service to get it published and tied to the Two Writing Teachers site as you calmly read the NYTimes,if you were lucky enough to get a copy and sip your first coffee and politely wait for me to return to our vacation reality.
For the first time, I’ll be home and rooted in the familiar with internet and the silence of the morning to my heart’s content and then some. So as I wait for the morning light to start my day with the rest my neighbors before I start washing a load of dirty laundry, I am taking on the usual jet lag after spending the last 2 weeks Tel Aviv.
I have no plans for the day and no need to leave home. My driver made a pit stop last night on the way home for fresh milk, bread and fresh fruit. So today I’m just enjoying home, napping at will, and digesting my second trip back “home” without you my side.
And we’re off…
Bonnie
Ahhh…napping at will…what a gentle way to get back into being at home. Looking forward to this month of March writing and reading and commenting. Glad you are part of us.
Ah! You arrived home… and I departed. As much as I love to travel, I do find those “I have no plans for the day and no need to leave home” days to be wonderful! Looking forward to seeing you throughout the month.
Welcome home! Napping sounds lovely.
Welcome back, Bonnie, glad you can stay home today, making plans for what’s next & enjoying home. Your outdoor space is waiting for spring!
Glad your writing circumstances are easier his year, and I know your writing ideas will flow as freely as they have in the past. Looking forward to your insights!
A perfect way to battle jet lag! Welcome home, traveler! Can’t wait to see what you write this month.
Back at you
Rest and relaxation…always a good prescription in my book. Enjoy your day. Looking forward to your posts, Bonnie.
No Mexico this year? Well, it will certainly be easier to write from your own home! Welcome back.
I just can’t be there without Tuvia. Maybe that will change but for now I am careful where I vacation. Some places are just too hard.
Welcome back! Looking forward to hearing your travel stories!
I’m amazed you managed a post after such a long trip! I could feel the relief of being home in your writing. Welcome back to the SOLC.
I was amazed to see your 10 year slicer badge!. What an accomplishment! Hope you’re getting back in the swing of life at home, continue to nap as needed!
