Letters to Tuvia Y2/#sol17 Day 6: Just Walking (3-6-17)

Morning Tuv R and Slicers,

Damn, I can’t get something going this morning.  I just started and deleted one start after the next.  I think it’s Donald Trumps fault.  I’m writing my love and history with Israel and listening to Joe and Mika rip apart the Donald. It’s all his fault.  The Donald is driving me crazy.  I dream about him… please Donald GO AWAY!!!!

It was easier to deal with him when I was far away from home.  Now I’m back with him in real time.  Thank G-d my images remind me of the peace I felt walking Israel.

Tuvia, I am so glad you aren’t here to see the mess he’s making in our garden of democracy.

Bonnie S.

  1. I think you are right. He can suck the joy out. I’m glad you had the pictures to go to. Thank you for sharing them. I’ve never been except through your photos.

  2. He’s such a distraction! I keep wondering what will happen next. I can’t stop checking in to see what’s happened.

I’m glad for your photos too! I really have a different picture of Israel in my mind after all these years of seeing your vacation pictures.

  3. Those pictures are quite serene. I too would focus on those! Such a strange circumstance we find ourselves in. Unreal…yet real. Cherish Israel. Cherish your memories. Donald definitely does not need nor deserve your attention (at least not in your dreams…goodness)! I hope, at some point, voices are heard loud and clear and we can look back on this and be proud of those who stood and shouted until rights were returned and idiocracy was shown the door…as it should be.

  4. Oh, Bonnie, I love seeing the pics, too, and am adamant that I won’t watch until the evening shows like Rachel. Each day brings another mess that is a sorry surprise. I’m sorry for the dreams, yikes!

  5. Politics as distraction and irritation…it’s so hard to tune them out! Beautiful images…makes me want to head out and travel! Thanks for sharing.
