Morning T.,
It seems like this weekend has been crawling to an odd finish and then we’ll be off to Montauk via New Paltz and Ellenville for Dani and Cliff’s wedding. Yes, it’s a bit crazy to drive north when we will be all headed south, but then you aren’t here to keep things short and sweet and share the drive that could be hours of stop and go. In this life time is moving differently… there’s no race to run, no balance to manage between the I and the we… it’s without speed and I a comfortable in it, and still miss your rhythm in it. I love it and miss you and that’s a constant: life that’s good and not as good.
Every morning this week I’ve been up at 5 or so… up and ready to begin a fresh new day. The coffee is brewing constantly, the weather has been summery, the apartment bathed in sunshine, my To Do is, as always, filled with productive goals and there’s been sprinkling of meet-ups to keep me from days without human connection beyond my mobile devices.
Ami, Adi, Anni, kids and dog Maggie, have arrived from Israel and are still in the adjusting period. But on Saturday night Ami and I met before the rest arrived at our Bone Fish for a lovely dinner and familial conversation that touched my heart and as always I can’t wait to welcome the full family in their gorgeous new home that sadly, you didn’t get a chance to enjoy.
I’m working on Tell it Digital’s first legacy video for Sharon’s dad, Bernie. What a wonderful experience capturing his life with the help of Sharon, her sister, mom and or course, Bernie. What a story to share and now my pressure to serve the story as best I can. Yikes!
I’m moving forward with my guitar practice… making my pieces sound more beautiful, more mine… Lesson today at 3:30. I have finally fallen in love with my practice.
Life is good… it is… and I’m in it… really… no worries… but then I come across the pictures above of frozen moments of us and I am overtaken by our happiness together and yes, I miss it. Yes, I MISS YOU!
It’s July 3rd today if we didn’t have plans for tomorrow, you would be demanding a barbecue for tomorrow complete with interesting guests and I’d be on line at our Fairway for chicken and beef shish kabob skewers wondering how I would be able to produce last minute guests.
I had it so good…. and yes, I KNEW IT!
Miss you Tuv R., today and every single day for almost two years,
Bonnie S.
