#sol19 3/31: At the Climb

Family day at Top of the Rock to cheer on my very amazing niece, Leigh! MS will not defeat her! It’s easy to stand with her and her network of friends and family.  Yes, I was up in the darkness but how could I possibly complain. An easy ride into the city with a playlist compliments of Alicia Keys.

I was there to cheer her on.  I was there to applaud another year of her triumph! It’s good to be an aunt, really good.  I’m proud to travel in her circle and get to do a bit of networking for something that’s dear to my heart.

As long as Leigh’s Climbing, I’ll be there cheering!

And now… snow falls…

  1. I tried climbing once. I didn’t train specifically for the stairway but I was cocky and thought that any exercise would work. I got up to the 32 floor- 1/2 way and my heart was pounding and I was sweating and I stopped. Tuvia, my partner and a doctor, made me promise to never try it again and listen to my heart… I promised. 🙂

  2. Bonnie! I remember reading about this climb before! What a wonderful event! My best friend has MS so this is dear to my heart as well. Every climber needs a cheering squad!
