Morning Slicers,
Maybe it’s true that winter is shutting down. I opened ALL the windows just now and I’m just listening to the birds… and I can’t wait to be out on my porch… but patience… for now, I’m focusing on making my guitar sing along with the birds. Thanks for my guitar teacher, Jonathan Trotta for introducing me to beautiful but challenging new music to make my own… Here’s my latest challenge… I can’t wait for my next lesson on Monday… so I’m off to practice with the birds…
This sounds beautiful and kudos for you developing such a talent. I come from a family with musical talent and admire it so much. Good luck!
Thanks Kim… I love this new piece and I wish I could even come close to Bream but I just need to keep my fingers moving on the strings and be inside music.
I hit play so I could listen while reading. “Clearly Bonnie has been practicing!” I thought. But now I think it is a recording of someone else. 🙂 I really want to learn the guitar, but keep telling myself that if I have time for music I need to stay focused on the piano.
Ha… yeah. I wish I could play like Julian Bream… or just keep playing better and better… classical guitar is a bitch but worthwhile if you have patience…
You have amazed me for many years for your passion to learn new things! You are an inspiration!
Thanks Jaana… keeps us in motion… I need new things to learn more now than ever
I am glad to see a post about guitar. Will there be one about swimming?
I’m dying to get back to swimming… maybe soon…
Yes, today the birds opened their chorus and the windows were opened to hear their songs….and yours. You are always learning.
If I didn’t have new things to do, I’d call it quits
Two different kinds of music combining to make beautiful music together.
Sweet
